Well it will soon be time for going back to school, sorting through some fabrics, I found the space themed fabrics I bought ages ago, planets, stars, I couldn't decide what to make, but browsing through a favourite pattern shop on Etsy, I found a pattern for a roll up pencil case.
I bought it about two weeks ago, printed it off the other day and started cutting out the planets fabric and this is the end result, which I think looks okay. The pattern seemed complicated at first but now I've made one, I will make some more.

a great pattern for using up remnants of fabric to make something useful, I suppose it could be made in floral fabrics for make up brushes or crochet hooks?
