the roof photo was taken in 2021
so had a roofer out yesterday and he says its the valley between the two houses, which is our neighbours houses, which was done in 2017 and has a 10 years guarantee, so ?
edit - had two roofers out - both say the same, strip all the tiles off and check the valley to find out the cause but a difference in quotes,
1) one says £5k with £1k deposit on the day in cash but no photo's or written quote saying what is wrong or a breakdown of what needs doing or costs etc, mention stone tiles one minute then slates the next yet no change in the price, then the deposit dropped from £1k to £250 then down to £100, oh and he was asking how long we had lived there and did we want to sell the house!
2) and the second roofer has given a lower price but still no photo's or written quote saying what is wrong or a breakdown of costs - deposit £250 pounds
3) get a third roofer opinion?
