Anyway I have been lucky enough to getting an online slot for shopping next week, so just logged in to check and there were 10 items unavailable and the basket price had dropped to £46...
Items now starting to be difficult to get hold of as well as toilet roll and lower value items, well no chance there! The higher price items are still there, for now...
- washing powder
- washing up liquid
- soap (forget hand wash - no chance!)
- toothpaste
- cooked meats
- hot chocolate
- pork chops
- dry cat food
- now even value cat litter
- plain flour
- dried packet peas
- some tubs of 500g spread
- tins custards
- tins peas
- tins carrots
we have two cats so managed to get a box of five pouches, three loose pouches limited to buying 3 and small cat food at 90p each! this is to last a week, mind you they could do with losing some weight so won't hurt to cut down a bit.
Do I spend a lot of food/cleaning products/cat food etc, I spend about - £60 a week, sometimes more sometimes less, some people spend more, some less, depends on the size of your family...
If you remember back in January, we started paying debts off so £19 week less in wages for the next three years, so while I'm not doing a woe is me blog post, just a reminder for all the selfish sods stocking up, don't forget the rest of us who are actually staying indoors and not buggering off for a day out to Skegness or Clumber park or wherever!
