...yesterday was a bit of a shit day really all round, the day before (Monday 6th January) hubby could not get into work due to snow still left from snowing on sunday, so catch a bus people say, well that's great if buses are actually running but where we live there were no buses until 3.15pm
but that is NEVER taken into account! Now hubby has got unauthorised absence on his work record
... so due to pressure from work to get in, he tried digging the path outside our house but after about half an hour, he came in as he wasn't feeling well, he just sat in a chair and did not look well at all...
...anyway he was on the last day of a blood pressure check over a week and the blood pressure was low but the pulse rate was high so made an appointment to see the Dr the next morning (Tuesday 7th January)
anyway at the appointment his heart rate was showing as 130bpm so an ambulance was called and two hours later he was on his way to hospital with blue lights on nearer they got to the hospital...
...I phoned my son and partner who came across and a bag was packed and we drove to hospital, son dropped me off and they went back to work...me and hubby were sat in A&E for 3 hours before moving into a cubicle to be checked by a Dr, bloods were taken and hubby was sent for a chest x-ray, but luckily no sign of a heart attack or a blood clot or fluid on the lungs...the Dr spoke to us about 7pm and even though the heart rate was showing between 99-112, the Dr said he could come home as it wasn't possible to get his CPAP machine but has a "same day emergency care" appointment later in the week, hubby also asked for a proof of attendance form for work, like when you are not feeling well and are blue-lighted into hospital, that should be the LAST thing to worry about, having to PROVE to work that you are NOT LYING!!
absolutely disgusting.....no doubt there will be a 'chat' when he goes back to work...
so hubby managed to get some sleep last night and has been sat in the chair resting today, so just wait and see what results are from the next appointment...
