I don't usually post about things like this but...

...not sure where the energy firms think people are going to find an extra 80% from...
There is the Don't pay Uk campaign as well, more info here...https://dontpay.uk/
https://www.itv.com/news/2022-08-10/dont-pay-uk-what-happens-if-you-refuse-to-pay-your-energy-bills
...people are scared to cancel direct debits, not sure why?
Earlier this we had the £150 rebate off the council tax bill which came down by about £1.50 a week, not sure that will make much of a difference in the bills really??
The advice is shop cheaper and just buy own brand food but what if you already do that, what's the answer?
There is the Too Good to go app, https://toogoodtogo.co.uk/en-gb/
where you can register and buy a magic bag of food that is left at the end of the day, £3 per bag, surely better than going hungry?
We got one last week from a local shop...
Really? As someone who has rented in the past, that is just not true, people work and rent but don't get universal credit, so that comment is just garbage!
But even if you own your home, people just assume that you are rich, that is also garbage as well, you own your home because you have worked hard for it,
but then again if you inherit a house and don't have to pay a mortgage that you are rich as well, the only people getting rich when you own your own home are people putting a 'new' roof on and wanting to charge £3k to replace a bit of path that only needs pressure washing!
or £175 to unblock the drains even though you pay to homeserve monthly cos they can't be bothered to come out for 3 days!
Sorry, I don't have any answers...is there another Winter of Discontent coming with all the strikes and stuff?
