2023 - 23rd March - it's that time of the year again, an increase in bills...

• Council tax - gone up from £19.80 a week to £26.60 week
• BT - gone up by £6 a month to £58 a month
• Mobile bill - down from £9.07 a month to £7 a month
• Water rates - up from £6.73 a month to .....£7.31
• British Gas - electric - pay £10 by standing order, going up to ?? ( bill due 4th April)
• edit 30/3/23 - the account is £50 in credit but apparently the bill is overdue and owe £100? 
• Eon- gas bill from £25.50 a month direct debit to £148 a month from April!!

Here's what we think you'll pay over the next 12 months
Estimated annual costs until 31st March 2023 - Gas: £1,582.64
Estimated annual costs from 1 April 2023 - Gas: £1,584.92
Price difference : Gas: - £2.28 increase ( divide by 12 months = £0.19p per month)

After phoning up, it seems that apparently we should be paying £131 a month on DD not £25.50 

March payments :
£12.50...15.00...25.50...15.00...£9.50...17.00....15.00....12.50....15.00

so about £6 month short...

I would have thought that making extra weekly payments would count towards the monthly payment, apparently not.... 

Oh and postage rates are changing on 3rd April...
