this is what seems to be happening, boiler is Ideal Logic+ 30 combi:
- Constant low humming/vibration coming from the boiler
- Noise continues even when heating and hot water are off
- Still hums even when boiler is switched off at controls and wall switch
- No error codes showing, but something is clearly wrong
- Hot water set to 50°C but comes out much hotter — can’t hold hand under tap
- Radiators also getting hotter than they should
- Suspect faulty PCB, temperature sensor, or wiring issue
- Just had a service and burner replaced, but issue is still ongoing
and now got bloody toothache FFS
still managed to get an appointment for a consultation to get ears syringed, paying for it , just had enough now
