2025 - 8th April - so the humming/vibration noise still persists

So the humming/vibration noise still persists...4 months later...

every time something gets 'repaired' stop tap/ bathroom sink taps/ ball valve in toilet cistern etc then the noise is worse then before so...

yesterday the gas engineer changed the burner and I asked to come back today and said the noise it is making when the hot taps are on is normal? 

he said yes, all readings and settings, pressures etc are all correct...yet it now seems more noisy when the hot taps are turned on, 

this is what the boiler is doing now - 

...making a noise like an aeroplane taking off when the hot water is running !

yet after the hot water has been running that's when the humming/vibration/droning/water hammer noise is there in the background after the boiler goes into standby mode - but no error codes

so found this so might install it as least trying and pin point where and what the noise is...

it sounds like water hammer noise but in the background if that makes sense and when I start the decibel app on my mobile then there is definite noise coming from somewhere in the house

....or the outside tap needs checking - new washer?

I still don't think it is tinnitus but will get ears checked for wax and then an hearing check - £25 - £60...
