2025 - 22nd April - toothache day 6 and humming noise 4 months and 3 days...

so got up, had breakfast and went to chemists, collected my prescription, amoxicillin 500 mg three times a day and metrozon ? 400mg thee times day

and had some dinner, the medication must be working as I'm now feeling sick!

Finally a week after having blocked drain, Yorkshire water came round, put a camera down, rang the doorbell and said he couldn't see any blockage but could see that there had been an overflow and disinfected the area outside the back door.

(erm, well you won't, contacted a local company who came out within 2 hours and unblocked it = £100 but money well spent as they did a very good job, hopefully it will be another 2 and half years before it needs unblocking again!)

Humming noise

on a local next door group, someone has mentioned that they could hear a humming noise and two of the comments mentioned - oh the usual tinnitus ah right so a decibel app can hear tinnitus can it duh!

CAUSES

  • microwave radiation - (thats a new one)
  • Bluetooth
  • TETRA ??
  • Wifi  /
  • CFLs ??
  • LEDs,
  • cordless DECT phones  - yes had one fitted last year - the battery pack is in the bedroom where I sleep!!!
the decibel meter I have on the mobile starts at 65hz, that is in a quiet house at night after 10pm, when the central heating is off

but the humming noise is getting worse - when I went out earlier I turned off the boiler and the heating switch and could still hear it when I got back so...
that rules out the boiler or does it?

Back to Google again and humming/ buzzing noise is the pump , spent £220 so far and still the noise continues, people say they can't hear anything, i CAN HEAR IT, should've that be good enough, not sure how much more i can take?

EDIT - hubby has just mentioned it is really loud tonight and usually he can't hear it!
